The Scott Spark 29 RC is constructed from Scott HMX carbon, which is lighter and stiffer compared to their HMF carbon that is used in their entry to mid level carbon framed bicycles. The Spark 29 RC is equipped with SRAM XX components, Rock Shox SID 29 RLT3 fork, and Scott Nude2 rear suspension. The Nude2 suspension is unique in that it pivots left and right, reducing the negative forces exerted while pedaling over obstacles. This allows the rider to transfer energy more efficiently through their pedals, and decreases the physical movement side to side of the rider. Here are detailed photos of the 2012 Scott Spark 29 RC.
