Here are photos of a customers Cannondale SuperSix EVO with the new 11-speed Dura-Ace Di2 9070. We upgraded his bicycle from SRAM Red to the new Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 9070. What Dura-Ace Di2 9070 brings to the table is precise/consistent shifting, improved ergonomics, reduced weight from previous Dura-Ace Di2 7970, and a 11 speed cassette.

Park Tool 50th Anniversary 3-Way

ParkTool has made a limited edition 3-way tool to commemorate their 50th anniversary. The tool features a forged, two-piece aluminum body andoized in Park Tool Blue with a laser engraved logo. The hexes are made of a heat-treated industrial strength steel, and is plated with gold.

2013 Time Atac XC 8 Carbon Pedals

Time has introduced the 2013 Atac XC, which has replaced the Atac XS. This redesign has reduced weight, but keeps in mind Time’s Atac Concept: The proven ATAC dual-arch retention system guarantees easy engagement and dependable release in all conditions. Low spring tension of the ATAC design causes less friction in extreme conditions, and along with an optimized release angle (13° or 17°), provides consistent entry and release, allowing MTB riding with total confidence. DT Swiss 180 Carbon Ceramic Hubs

The DT Swiss 180 hubs are built with ceramic bearings and a carbon hub sleeve. The ceramic bearings provide a smooth ride, while the carbon sleeve reduces weight and stiffens the hub.

2013 Foundry Auger

Here are photos of our first Foundry Auger. The Auger is Foundry’s cyclocross bicycle that is rigorously tested to ensure durability and designed to withstand being ridden hard everyday. This particular Auger is set up with SRAM Force with a Shimano Dura-Ace SRM crankset, Whiskey fork, and equipped with Revelate bags to increase storage without adding panniers.

Mavic Yksion Pro Tire System

Mavic Yksion Pro tire system has improved on the previous Yksion tire system by adding tread, reducing weight, and adding a Kevlar breaker. This means the tires shed water better, reduce rolling weight, and have improved puncture resistance.

Like the Yksion tire system, the new Yksion Pro are front and rear specific. The Yksion Pro GripLink incorporates Mavic’s Dual Compound “S+”, which provides more traction for your front wheel and allows for cornering in any weather condition. The Yksion Pro PowerLink has a light supple high density tread compound which increases power transfer and decreases rolling resistance for your rear wheel, while still providing a smooth ride quality.

Serotta MeiVici w/ Dura-Ace 9000

This week we received the last pieces to complete a customers Serotta MeiVici. This MeiVici is equipped with the new Shimano Dura-Ace 9000 11-speed, Mavic Ksyrium SLS wheels, Easton EC90 handlebars, 3T stem, 3T handlebars, Chris King headset, and Selle SMP Lite 209 Saddle.

Overall the improvements of Dura-Ace 9000 compared to the Dura-Ace 7900 are 100g weight savings, 11-speed drivetrain, improved ergonomics, reduced shifting effort, 10% increase in braking power, reduced drag by 50% in the bottom bracket, PTFE coated chain, and polymer coated shift cables to maintain consistent shifting.

2012 De Rosa Nuovo Classico w/ Campagnolo Chorus 11

As a retirement gift to himself, great friend of the shop has been asking us to build him classic Italian bicycles. These bicycles are hand-made Italian steel bicycles that he has always wanted from the past. The first Italian bicycle we built up for him was a Colnolgo Masters about a year and a half ago. This year he wanted to add to his quiver of hand-made steel bicycles by having us build him a classic geometry De Rosa Nuovo Classico with a threaded 1″ fork, equipped with Chorus 11, and set up on Campagnolo Eurus 2-Way Fit wheels. Here are photos of the final product.

Recently we have received 2013 Serotta MeiVici SG & Legend SG models that come equipped with Shimano Ultegra 6700. The MeiVici SG complete is $5,895 & the Legend SG complete is $5,695. Lynskey Green Monster Ultegra Di2 Upgrade

Recently we just upgraded a customers Lynskey Green Monster frame from Shimano 6600 Ultegra to 6770 Ultegra Di2 (Digital Integrated Intelligence.) Also, we dropped weight by removing his rack system, and replacing it with Revelate Designs frame bag and saddle bag.

This customer trains for ultra long races like the Race Across America (RAAM), so an average training ride is +10 hours. What the customer noticed after taking it for a long ride last weekend is that total weight of the bicycle had decreased, shifting is consistent from start to finish, and Ultegra Di2 is less fatiguing on the wrist, since Di2 shifting is at a push of a button instead of a throw of a lever.

If you look closely at the rear wheel there is indeed a 11-34 XTR cassette installed. How did we do it?
