Fi’zi:k’s new saddle the Kurve implements a new design in saddle comfort and feel. Saddle comfort usually is given by the form on top of the base of the saddle, but with the Kurve the comfort is given by the base itself. The Kurve’s design allows for the saddles stiffness to be adjusted with two tuning inserts, which allows for more flex or less flex in the saddle. Also, this new design reduces extra materials in its design, which reduces the overall weight.

The Orbea Ordu SLT is the perfect time trial bicycle. It balances stiffness and aerodynamics without penalizing the riders power transfer. More aerodynamic frames tend to be weaker especially for riders who produce high wattage, because the more aerodynamic a frame is the thinner they tend to be. Orbea uses the combination of optimal stiffness, perfect drag coefficient, and data gathered from their pro riders from wind tunnel testing to produce the Orbea Ordu frame.

Detailed photos of the silver level Orbea Orca SDi2 Dura-Ace that shows the cable integration Orbea has created with their monocoque construction. Orbea GSB Carbon is their system to categorize their frame levels, which breaks down to Gold, Silver, and Bronze level frames.

Gold level frames offer the best ride quality with the best stiffness to weight ratio. This is achieved through the use of ultra-high modulus fibres that improve traction resistance and compression of the frame. Incorporation of Orbea’s Attraction system that has been designed to optimize your performance through the unique shape of the fork and rear triangle. The purpose of Attraction is to absorb vibrations and irregularities of the road without compromising lateral stiffness, which maximizes performance on the bike and allows the rider to achieve optimal pedaling efficiency.

Silver level frames use the same technology as the Gold level frames, but are slightly heavier. The Silver level frames incorporate a high modulus fibers instead of ultra-high. This makes the frames more durable, because high modulus fibers can absorb impact better than the more rigid ultra-high modulus fibers used in the Gold level frame construction.

Bronze level frames will be the most comfortable riding frames and affordable, but in turn will be heavier and will not fully utilize the Attraction system like the Gold and Silver level frames.

It comes with Shimano 105 drivetrain/shifters, FSA BB30 bottom bracket, FSA Gossamer crankset, Tektro brakes, and Shimano RS10 wheelset. The features that make this bicycle women specific are the narrower handlebars, women specific Prologo Kappa Dea saddle, and inserts in the shifters that provide a shorter reach.
